Currency converter: convert between more than 160 currencies
Convert an amount between currencies with today's exchange rates. You can see the date and source of each rate, and your choice of currencies is remembered for next time.
How to use the currency converter
Choose the currency you have and the currency you want to convert to. Then enter the amount. The result appears right below and updates as you type. The ⇄ button swaps the two currencies.
Where do the rates come from?
The rates for the euro and 29 other currencies are the European Central Bank's reference rates. The ECB publishes them on working days at around 16:00 CET. Other currencies, such as the Macedonian denar, come from ExchangeRate-API and are updated once a day. Each conversion shows the date and source of the rate.
If a rate is not updated, for example at the weekend, the latest rate is used with its original date.
Example: Macedonian denars to euros
With 61.497 denars per euro, 1 denar is 1 / 61.497 = 0.0163 EUR. 1,000 denars are therefore about 16.26 EUR. The other way round, you get about 61.50 denars for 1 euro.
The mid-market rate is not the rate you get
The rates are mid-market rates without any markup. Banks, exchange offices and card providers usually add a rate markup or a fee. To see what that means for your amount, you can use the currency exchange fee calculator.
